(Also, just as a caveat, yes, I am aware that even the stochastic terrorism wing of the far-right has various opinions on the text of Siege, but just as a bit of nuance, I believe that all boogaloo-related ideologies stem from Mason, even if they criticize the text itself.)

Listening to this and the War on Everyone from @IwriteOK back to back has given me an even bleaker view of the world than I had previously. The amount of awful-things-literacy required to fight this stuff is demoralizing considering how few people in power are making an effort.

This podcast is consistently excellent at examining the people in these far right movements. They take the threats and ideology of fascist very seriously.
I’m ~18 episodes in & wondering how much more of the rabbit hole I can stand. I mean, @_Jack_Graham_ and @danieleharper are ok, but the stuff they cover is, as they will admit, unmitigated bullshit. Worthwhile for understanding, I am depressed to say, the occasional “manifesto”
Yeah, but here's the thing... if you live this "bullshit", like most of those covered by IDSG do, or even maybe slightly agree with a thing or two the subjects say, then knowing how they get their hooks in, before they're "set" is huge!
