      As a refresher to people unfamiliar with the players here: The event is being held by newly formed “Super Happy Fun America” which seems like a sort of rebranding and unification of right wing groups “Boston Free Speech” and “Resist Marxism.” Also Milo is apparently leading.

      Let’s talk about cops. August 19, 2017 (a week after Cville), a 5-figure number of counter-demonstrators protested the 50ish of the same group. Boston cops kept the sides separate but were tough on the left-wingers. Dozens of arrests.https://youtu.be/g8VOO2buyi4

      The same folks protested August 18, 2018 in a “rally against left wing violence.” Boston police separated the 40-person turnout from their opposition primarily by escorting them everywhere surrounded by bike cops. No arrests or violence.https://youtu.be/su0iAFzHR6w

      In October 2018, they tried Providence, Rhode Island. Cops just watched everything as it turned into a few bloody scuffles. In my view, LEO’s are the main variable in whether these things go bad. Tomorrow WILL be violent IF the cops handle it badly.https://youtu.be/H-nc8V1V2R8

      Apparently in the Proud Boys trial one of the defendents has punched someone in the face in Providence l. What was the date of the 2018 rally

      It was October 2018. Proud Boys attended that so it’s a safe bet that the punch in question is in that video.

      Max Hare, who was recently convicted of attacking protesters in Manhattan on 10/12/18, was in Providence on 10/6/18 attacking people, too. The NYT coverage of the case mentioned that prosecutors brought up the Providence attacks to establish a pattern of violence.
