I'm getting word now that Captain Thomas Woodworth, an ICE guard who drove his truck into a crowd of protesters outside the facility where he works, has just resigned from his position. The guard’s name is Thomas Woodworth, of Pawcatuck, Connecticut.
He drove his personal vehicle, a 2012 Chevy Silverado, through a crowd of protesters.
Solidarity with all the protesters.

Resigning is a cowards way out. Unless RI police press charges, or the feds do since he *was* an

Kind of strange, though I remain skeptical, to see people actually being held accountable. Let us hope, with continued pressure, that this may become permanent. Of course, police officers who accept that the rule of law means them too isn't what our aim should be.
