We see the same dogwhistles, dehumanizations, and invocations of deviance and criminality, etc. applied to trans people by the alt-right that we saw applied to Jews by Der Sturmer. This bathroom rhetoric about "keeping our kids safe" is just the Blood Libel for a new generation.
