What am I missing? He spoke the truth but calls it radical? There are literally 100s of books written mostly by white male historians that document the “radical beliefs” Bill O mentions

Oh, you’re not missing anything. He has a pretty decent handle on what actually happened, in a mainstream history kinda way, but dismisses it all as a left wing conspiracy theory.
