The photo is from a peaceful protest of loggers which occurred earlier in the week, there is no militia siege. I don’t know if the Oregon GOP meant this to be humorous or some kind of thinly veiled threat?

The tl;dr is that they made an alliance with some paramilitary groups and threatened to kill a bunch of cops so that their State Senators don't have to vote on a resolution they're going to lose, and now they're trying to downplay it by comparing that to a peaceful protest.
