Curious if there is any statistical survey census type data about white dreads - do people still get them? Are white dread havers declining in number?

In decline for the old heads (pun intended), I’ve seen a good few cutting them off. But there’s still new jawns coming up as college students in Asheville who haven’t learned better.
2018: had a white guy with dreads offer to “dialogue and explain [his] personal beliefs and reasons for dreading” with me when I told him that shit was kind of offensive offer was declined, since just listening to him justify his bullshit isn’t a dialogue
