We have the same problem in the UK. The police have spent millions preventing violence at English Defence League protests. It's such a waste of time and money.

It's a big win for the police and their security supply contractors. The whole point of demonstrations like this is to funnel public money into security pockets and away from other things. 10 KKK jackassses are the diversion from the $600k heist.

Ah, but you forget the thousands of cowards from Charlottesville that promised they'd show up again. It is obvious which side the police are on. Whose resistance they want to quell and who they want to protect, if only from themselves and their own false sense of grievance.
