interesting that someone passing themself as a doctor of philosophy would be either a) ignorant of the philosophical underpinnings of fascism, which center violence as the preferred means of control or b) be aware of this and choose to ignore it in service of a bad faith argument

That's an unsupported premise based on an appeal to authority Eoin, I saw those as a TA and would expect better from a Phd. You make a number of assumptions and flaws in logic here that tell me you're either a fraud or you've pre-determined your end point in this argument.
