Okay but this is a genuinely decent thing to protest. Like assange is a hero and should be defended so do we really want to let them have a monopoly on this issue while we focus on their protest?
Oh, I don’t think we have to pick a side here? We can acknowledge that the US police state is punishing whistleblowers while also acknowledging that Assange is a rapist and a fascist who’s supported the human rights violations of the Assad and Putin regimes.
