Rebirth Thread: I first started this account to talk smack at conservative 2A gun nuts who were convinced liberals/leftists were weak and unarmed, thus the “Lib” in my original handle. Then fascist fuckwads started marching through our streets, that changed. 1/

I began following local anti-fascists, realizing that they had the most current info on the movements of these jabronis. I wanted to know what was going on at any moment to either avoid the conflict or confront if necessary. 2/

Since then I’ve gotten to know some of you in person, and respect a lot of you online. Not only have you kept me abreast of the douchebaggery, you educated me in several ways. I even received the occasional “WTF R U DOIN” slap upside my virtual head. 3/

Like it says in my bio, I’m not really a joiner. I don’t feel comfortable labelling myself as one particular thing. I align with certain philosophies and practices that speak to me, becoming a Venn diagram with “Don’t Be A Dick” in the center. 4/

So as I’ve learned more and seen how my life views align with others, the “Lib” part of my handle wasn’t sitting quite right with me anymore. Casual digs at conservatives is no longer my goal, and I never really identified truly as a liberal. 5/
