So now the people assume that the police are out to get them and there is no justice. This is a hard thing to fix. Trust is hard to win back - from both sides. But to say that all cops are babies is juvunile. You are not helping. But then you dont want to help do you?

No, not me. Maybe you. If you are doing it within legal boundaries, then kudos man. I support your effort. But I dont think they are quitting to not "face accountability", they feel like they are doing a hard job and feel unappreciated. And I have pointed out why.
