Yeah, but the cops don't actually do that right now. The clearance rate for homicide is barely 60%. Non-fatal violent crime is just 45%. And of the sexual assault cases where they don't discourage the survivor out of reporting, they still only make an arrest 34.5% of the time.pic.twitter.com/xYcfT0kiZ4
