9/ Even though their misogyny, transphobia, and Islamophobia qualifies groups like the Proud Boys for hate group status-- even according to the @splcenter-- major media outlets still gave them softball coverage.
10/ The fifth and final one is the degree to which the far-right is getting more open about their violence. It's most visible in the Pacific Northwest, but members of the Proud Boys and Patriot Prayer are routinely threatening violence via Facebook livestreams.

Tellingly, none of them work for legacy media outlets.

But also pay attention to the investigation and reporting from traditional antifa groups, like @_eugeneantifa, @RoseCityAntifa, @NYCAntifa, and @afainatl.
They're usually even ahead of the journalists.
