9) So what do we do now that the Proud Boys-- a violent ultranationalist hate group-- are being led by a violent white nationalist?

10) We need to stop treating them like a goofy men's fraternal organization. That just gives them ideological cover. They're an ultranationalist gang that now has a violent white nationalist leading them.

11) We need to acknowledge that the Proud Boys organized to attack protesters in Providence on 10/6, and in NYC on 10/12. And that they've been organizing violent assaults with Patriot Prayer for the last year.

12) Will the leadership of white nationalist J.L. Van Dyke stymie their organizing? Maybe. But only if we stop treating them like a fraternal organization and start treating them like what they are. An ultranationalist hate group led by a white nationalist.

13) The police won't protect us here. We need to defend our own communities from this threat. And that starts by acknowledging the threat they pose.

14) Expose them everywhere they go. Tell their employers about them. Get them fired.

15) The people of Philadelphia recently stood up to defend their community to get Proud Boy Andrew Kovalic fired.
