Right? I feel like a lot of the mainstream GOPers making these alliances are building their own fascist base to replace establishment conservatives from inside the party? Mostly, it's not the guys who already have power doing this. It's the young wolves coming up from behind.
It’s almost like a “soft coup” taking place within the party. There are definitely substantial internal forces opening doors for people and groups who would have been considered too radical a few years ago.
