The Proud Boys are trying to rally in Philadelphia on 11/17.
I need you to sign this, and then share the link, folks.
No hate in our streets!

I get the reluctance to sign your name on any kind of list, even a non-public one. But not everyone is ready for street action, and we need to build a broad coalition to beat fascism. Petitions can be a good way to start building that.

Always assess your own risk accordingly, but putting public pressure on gov't officials to deplatform fascists has been effective in the past. Jason Kessler withdrew his application for a Cville rally back in July after facing bureaucratic hurdles: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/organizer-of-deadly-charlottesville-rally-withdraws-demand-for-a-second-rally-permit/2018/07/24/f41cdfa2-8dd6-11e8-8322-b5482bf5e0f5_story.html?utm_term=.2bdc52f168f8 … 1/2

Also, there's a base of progressive liberals just waiting to be mobilized here. These are people who may be unfamiliar or even uncomfortable with direct action, but definitely know how to put their names on a petition, and we should be using all the options available to us. 2/2

Honestly, it's not even my petition, and I'm not WWP. I'm just sharing things related to the 11/17 rally.
