Was just talking about this with my s/o. I worry about certain other men I know, who are otherwise "liberal" but hold some pretty disgusting attitudes toward women. Prime targets for fascist organizing.

YUP. Like those "liberal" dudes who use the p-word and the f-slur to talk about the Proud Boys, or call Kellyanne Conway the c-word. You just know they're gonna go from Chapo to Bill Maher, and start listening to Joe Rogan, and then just go full fash.

I dunno if it's accurate to talk about misogyny in fascism as if it's some kind of recruiting strategy. The way it appeals to dudes who aren't initially all that interested in race is just like, an unintended side effect of the fact that misogyny is second nature to fascists.
