No offense, but you're acting like the cops have no agency. The cops are trained, well-paid professionals with one of the strongest union apparatuses in the country. They support the fash because they both worship power, not because they're getting tricked.

The cops aren't idiots. They're bootlickers and racists. No one is tricking them into shit. They have guns and the ability to use them pretty much without consequence. They aren't doing a single thing they don't actively want to do.
