The reason David Duke didn’t personally hurt anyone is because he was out & proud about what he was. Eyes were on him. Tim McVeigh stayed in the shadows & killed 166 people. If we’re going to learn from the past we need to learn from all of it.

He bought a shirt. He wasn’t publicly a grand wizard of his own group. He wasn’t shouting in D.C. I’m not a white supremacist & even I have a copy of The Turner Diaries. Duked killed no one. Don’t weaken your argument because you need to win. Here’s the real issue being ignored:

We have a sex offender registry. Problem is, the proper people don’t want to live around them, so a lot of offenders end up on the streets; this means there are no eyes on the sex criminals & renders the registry useless.

Now proper people want to add Nazis to that growing population. I’d rather have local, state & federal government know exactly where they are -via a job & permanant address - instead of them hiding in the cracks. That’s just basic sense.

If you want to feed into their victim complex - with your tax money supporting them - because you won’t shop Big Lots, then that’s “the feels,” not a real solution.

1) Fascists have a victim complex whether they actually suffer for their beliefs or not. 2) It’s easy not to take them seriously when you’re a straight white guy. It’s not so easy when you’re practically anything else.
