Today I filed HB 6055, a Bill that would end the practice of giving “in-state” tuition to illegal immigrants. Middle-class families should NOT be forced to pay for the tuition of illegals. Additionally, the savings should instead go to the State of Texas to help build the wall.

States should not be handing out foreign aide to other states...on top of that the wall is a useless waste of money. I think you are a good fiscal conservative, this is one area where I think you are wrong.

Thank you- my daughter is in your area working straight doubles, but already down 2 semesters due to a FASFA screw up that made her tuition even after scholarship unaffordable. Americans are TIRED of being screwed over while our kids do without……

Why Floridians need to pay for the Texan wall? On the other hand middle class people should not be responsible for paying all the taxes. Highly rich people and corporations should pay their fair share.
