8 years ago today—I put down the drink, picked up the phone & asked for help. I’ve been sober ever since. If you’re struggling please don’t give up. You’re not a failure. We just can’t beat this thing on our own—it’s too big. But we can do it when we find the courage to get help.

There is only one way to apologize for something: accept what you did wrong and change the way you behave. If you don't back it up with action, it's just lip service.

How do you know you've lived a good life? Ask yourself two things: • Have I made a difference in someone else's life? • Have I created a legacy for my children's grandchildren? If you can say "yes" to both, you've lived a GOOD life.💯
