you know what keeps not being said, on top of the horrible impacts on transgender kids? that this kind of rhetoric and culture keeps some cisgender girls out of sports, too, because they don't want to be labeled or accused. it's all so awful

Never mind that even many cisgender teens (especially girls) already have tons of body confidence issues. I can’t imagine being forced to show your genitals or have your medical records pored over just so you are able to plays in a HS sports team is going to help with this.
