Aspiring founders sometimes think they’ll learn more joining a startup first(mentorship, success models, expertise etc) Maybe! But they underestimate that, as a founder, you can also get great mentors, founder peers, expertise—& skin in the game is a hell of a learning motivator

Totally. The question to ask is why joining would be a better learning accelerant than starting. Good answers are: you’ll meet your cofounder, you’ll work with the best people you’ll ever meet, you’ll make a lot of money, and they’ll invest in your startup

It comes with the observation that right hiring has been a challenge for startups due to resource crunch I have seen fellow Founders end up hiring some misfit from MNCs and they couldn't sustain more than 3 months hence got fired.

It's also been observed when your business is scaling fast with very few resources and hiring needs time it becomes difficult for an startup to hire right people and this mistake results in loss for both.
