Fitting that Mitt Romney would tout a carbon tax that screws over poor people and raises their energy bills in front of a Goldman Sachs crowd.

There's no reason a carbon tax has to screw poor people. You can easily take the revenue from the tax and use it to increase EITC, reduce rates on lower tax brackets, etc...

Worth remembering that in 50 years they will look back at Trump and say the most egregious and impeachable thing about Mulvaney's press conference yesterday was his statement that Climate Change won't be on the G7 agenda.

Climate Change is a do or die crisis to be sure. But if liberal democracy dies, *all* policy discussion is moot. And that's literally what we're in the fight of our lives for.
