    I completely LOVE this editorial - it reminds me of many conversations I have had about academia.

    That's why I call it taking a "pledge" - bc he is called on and semi-required to say this. But I am also happy to see how he rules ...

    I'd give Gorsuch J a pass, b/c Senate confirmation is its own special circus of mindless cliche, but this lack of comity is rather jarring

    Don't worry - I'm sure that the US will continue to apply its law extraterritorially, so at least the R4 on jurisdiction will be relevant :)

    We have a 4th Restatement on treaties! Could come in handy if the US ever decides to do one again.

    Interesting to see Judge Gorsuch claim that the US is still seen globally as 'the shining example' of rule of law. Not sure I'd agree...
