I need to take a moment and address this because as important as it is to call out those in our community who are disgusting people, I believe it's also important to acknowledge the response to said call out. You are all amazing. You stepped up without fear, you asked questions,
You pushed forward and let your voices be heard. To those of you who found the courage to speak out, I applaud you wholeheartedly. I know how hard it can be to speak on these things, now especially on a community level. You should feel proud and your community thanks you.
To those who might be still unsure about the people they once called friends, I understand you too. It's not easy to hear all this and just write someone you loved off. I hope and pray that you find peace within yourself and you can move forward with the rest of us.
To those who the world has finally heard about the things you've done.I hope you get help. As angry and emotional I've been towards those actions, I cant bring myself to want to see you suffer. I just want peace. And part of that is that everyone involved learns and moves forward
To the Smash community. I have hope for the future. This is the first step to something bigger, and I applaud your efforts. Now might seem like the time to mourn, but I say it's time for reformation. Time to take what we have a build something beautiful.
