Yo I hopped on stream and things seemed calm I hopped off and I see everyone saying to stay where they are and to avoid downtown/travelling at night. What. Happened.

Judging from the vids I saw, the peaceful protests downtown turned into a riot. Were destroying windows and cars some people were hurt as well. Police were sent in to disperse crowds and apparently tear gas was used. Was a few hours ago, I have no idea what the situation is now
