A message to anyone aspiring to be a top level smash player: have a back up plan. Stay in school, and/or work in a career where you can grow, or anything like that WHILE you work on being the best you can be in Smash. This goes out to TOs, streamers, and commentators too.
I agree but want to extend this sentiment to everything in life, not just smash. I was raised that no matter what position you're in, or what you're doing or how secure it might feel, it could all be gone the next day. Back up plans are a must.
