Some of the resulting videos are embedded in our story. More at the link below. Ten vets who watched them signed a letter arguing the practice violates the Humane Methods of Slaughter Act. One told me he won't eat pork in the US until this changes.

Credit the agribusiness industry with producing meat very efficiently and cheaply: Pork is cheaper, after inflation, than it was a century ago. But look at the videos from the hog gas chambers, and you understand the true cost of pork.
