So us creators got punished for not making family friendly / ad friendly content / now we are getting punished for making family friendly content....? This is ridiculous. Punishing the wrong people - not my job to babysit what someone else's kid watches - where's the parents?!?!

How are you being punished? You just won’t have comments. You’ll still get paid.

when they turned off my comments my channel dropped by 1m views per month, teens like to comment on videos. And youtube makes our videos less discoverable cause they use comments as a gauge as to how good a video is. That is punishment for all our hard work making video.
