Is it found in Puget Sound? Does it be in the Salish Sea? We have created a simple interactive map to help you determine if a geographic feature is within the boundaries of the Puget Sound or Salish Sea watersheds.

Take Action: Ask the Pacific Fisheries Management Council to consider the salmon needs of the Southern Resident killer whales when approving 2022 Chinook fishing quotas. More pregnancies will be lost until more Chinook are available. 📸 Suzanne Huot

We ran a clean-up dive at the Port of Edmonds this weekend to raise awareness about our need for a healthy ocean. These divers/volunteers are kids/teens changing the world one dive at a time. We picked up junk created before they were born

We are thrilled to hear the news about a legally binding agreement on plastic by 2024. Here's how we think it should look.

This great hammerhead shark image, Magnificence, makes me feel empowered. Sharks face so many challenges during their lifetime and will continue to do so unless we have a shift in our consciousness and our actions towards our environment.

If we are deeply engaged with books we make, I believe we cannot help but be changed by them. Yesterday I picked up trash while walking my 8yo to school and felt so glad to know I was keeping it out of our waterways.

A plastic bag with the text THANK YOU on it that has trash inside that's positioned next to the books Plastic Ahoy! by Patricia Newman and Annie Crawley, Washed Ashore by Kelly Crull, and One Plastic Bag by Miranda Paul and Elizabeth Zunon.

Because the ocean is underrepresented in our education system and often misrepresented by the media, we must give the ocean a voice.

Channeling Baba Dioum, “In the end, we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught.” Together we need to shift how people think about sharks. This is a Great hammerhead shark.
