    Glad to see the Queen & now PM w/ the sultan of Oman Given Oman's crucial role in diplomacy with Iran & also the Houthis, if diplomacy remains a priority for the US (which it should be but this is not certain), should plan to meet Sultan Haitham

    Many have wondered if Gulf diplomacy will yield lasting results: this remains to be seen Yet symbolic measures, like the UAE celebrating Qatar's national day tomorrow, will (hopefully) help to repair the relationship & prevent conflict from re-emerging
