  3. We need jobs, jobs, jobs across our country to drive the recovery and rebuild our economy. The government haven’t even managed 500 jobs across the whole north east. Staggeringly incompetent.

  6. Hundreds of millions of pounds of public money were put at risk by the decision to let Greensill lend through the CLBILS scheme. The Chancellor has to explain why he let that happen when his own officials were fully aware of Greensill’s financial woes.

  7. A lovely sunny morning to join , candidate Martin Petchey and on the campaign trail in Stantonbury. Labour councils like in Milton Keynes are making a difference across the country. That’s why you should on 6 May.

  8. Taxpayers will wonder why the Chancellor handed over hundreds of thousands of pounds of public money to a company that is lobbying his department. Every day brings more evidence of the revolving door that shows why sleaze is back under the Conservatives.

  10. Treasury officials knew Greensill was in financial trouble as early as 21 March last year. They also knew Greensill applied to the CLBILS Covid loan scheme on 24 April. Greensill got access to hundreds of millions in taxpayer-backed loans in June. Where was the Chancellor?

  11. Emails between David Cameron and the Bank of England show Greensill wasn't shy about the financial trouble it was in as early as March last year. So why did the Government grant it access to hundreds of millions of pounds of taxpayer-backed loans in June? We need answers.

  12. Happy A day to think about what is required to and how we organise to keep alive the hope of limiting global heating to 1.5C. Enough talk. Time to start responding to accelerating climate and environment breakdown as the emergency it is.

Beyond shocking that basic checks were missing and companies without the right certification jumped the queue. As Labour has been pushing for months, the Tories must publish who won contracts through the VIP fast lane now and stop hiding the details.

  20. Fantastic to join on the campaign trail in Hackney recently and to hear how much support there was on the doorstep for my friend . The Mayoral election is a two-horse race between Sadiq and the Conservative candidate. If you love London, vote for Sadiq.
