    Completely agree. I just saw this piece today from , which offers some helpful history and context, as well as ways of thinking about alternative approaches to board decision-making models and structures. Good food for board thought.

    Just a reminder that Robert’s Rules of Order were created in 1876 by US army officer Henry Martin Robert. He adapted them from even older congressional rules. If they work for your org, great. But keep in mind they can also be inequitable and leave lots of people behind.
