Sorry to be very dim today, but I feel like I'm missing some information on this matter. Can you please extrapolate a bit? Whenever you have the time, no rush. Thank you for your time.

Have a read of this. Our experience and several other cases involving abuse of many kinds are dismissed by
@sra_solicitors as they claim it is private life/non-client. So when we see things like this, it’s quite sickening.https://catchthecatfish.com/just-a-bit-of-fun-or-sexual-abuse-why-some-catfish-are-cowardly-and-clever-sexual-abusers/ …2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

I'm terribly sorry this happened to u and the other women, this is a horrific experience to go through... Unfortunately, SRA can't dictate what their members do at home - however, the police and criminal courts can. It might be a long battle to fight, but SRA is not the place 4 it

This is what I mean by the other professions, including mine where teachers are very much expected to set an example in private and professional capacity.https://catchthecatfish.com/the-solicitors-regulation-authority-sra-and-the-need-for-reform-in-todays-society-is-lack-of-reform-enabling-abuse/ …

Ah, it's hard to give teaching profession as an example when a male teacher who admitted to taking pictures up girls' skirts has not been immediately dismissed and banned from teaching forever... My point is: to win a fight, u have to fight it on the right territory. SRA isn't it

Don’t get me wrong, that teacher needs removing. I’m not sure why he hasn’t.But those cases are few and far between compared to the misconduct of solicitors.Stats prove that. Public don’t trust for good reason-52% against 85%. I have lawyer friends agree SRA are failing profession

But I don't see it as a comparison: who has more cases of abusers and what type? That doesn't matter at all. What matters is the fact that all these perpetrators have to be charged in a criminal Court and their regulatory bodies can't help with that.

Unfortunately we’re back to lack of funding for police and antiquated legislation inhibiting what work they do, do. Pressure of statistics mean CPS only want to prosecute gold plated cases to number crunch against historic case law for majority. It’s a bloody mess.
