Sorry to be very dim today, but I feel like I'm missing some information on this matter. Can you please extrapolate a bit? Whenever you have the time, no rush. Thank you for your time.

Have a read of this. Our experience and several other cases involving abuse of many kinds are dismissed by
@sra_solicitors as they claim it is private life/non-client. So when we see things like this, it’s quite sickening.https://catchthecatfish.com/just-a-bit-of-fun-or-sexual-abuse-why-some-catfish-are-cowardly-and-clever-sexual-abusers/ …2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

I'm terribly sorry this happened to u and the other women, this is a horrific experience to go through... Unfortunately, SRA can't dictate what their members do at home - however, the police and criminal courts can. It might be a long battle to fight, but SRA is not the place 4 it

They weren’t relationships on his part. Just what he made us believe. What it does call into question is his lack of honesty in creating a fake online life (across the board to do this). Many other professional’s regulators include private life. Lawyers should be included.

I agree this should count to a certain extent, however, if in the professional life he is 100% compliant with all the rules and is honest, it's very hard for the profession to kick him out... That's why I said it's a very complicated issue

I agree it’s complicated. So are all the other abuse cases whether financial, physical, emotional...etc. These men are clever and use their knowledge of the law to creep around it. They will also be able to hide professional misconduct...I’m assured it’s almost a given.

I understand ur frustration and anger at the whole situation, been there myself 2, numerous times, various ways - but being hell bent on holding accountable the wrong side & being bitter in public won't help u. Be smarter than he is. Be better than him - it's the only way to win.

I’m not bitter. My hopes for changes in the law won’t be retrospective and I’m aiming to get regs for dating inds http://too.You don’t see me plastering his name everywhere even tho he’s admitted it to the SRA. I want to ensure men like him don’t do the same to others.

It's a long way to go, but I support your cause: abusers of any kind should be outed and made to pay for their deeds. Please keep me updated. Please send me the link to the petition. Also, maybe we can have a chat in the new year

Thanks I will
. I love the law too BTW. I’ve been a successful LIP a few times and helped friends through successful family law. We need some decent judges in court too. Get cracking with your goals! Look forward to chatting. Have a fab new year
