As a member of the 'wider' public and non-client who has been abused by a solicitor (I am one of many) only to find that the 'regulator' if you can call them that thinks this is ok behaviour, when standards expected of other 'professionals' is far higher- they need binning.
For the fraction of cases they do 'regulate', they are a pointless entity (self regulated -pathetic) setting a tolerance level for misconduct that is way above the norms of normal and honest people. Is there any wonder the public don't trust lawyers??? Change is a coming...
