I swear some people think ‘evidence based practice’ is where they get to cherry pick the evidence base they want for their work to confirm their own biases and ignore all the opposing evidence that tells them that what they are doing is harmful and unethical. Baffling.
It’s the filter bubble and echo chamber effect. How can you ever have or give a truly honest and valued opinion if you don’t research or allow your thoughts to be challenged by listening to others opinions. You can still have yours if nothing sways you but at least it’s informed!
