Not meaning to sound ‘mean’ Phil, but have a thought for all the elderly ( like grandparents) and others that are vulnerable that ‘you’ as a carrier could infect with the virus despite the younger healthy generation avoiding any severe symptoms. It’s called empathy.

They can learn from home via online schooling. It’s not that tricky today. Lots of countries are adopting a skeleton staff for key workers children to come in. There are other options.

My son is doing exams as well. A levels. He’s only going to necessary lessons ( 6 pupils per class) and coming back home straight away. All study periods are at home. Research is at home. This is our decision until they get the schools closed. You need to be proactive.
