I've been supportive of the govt's overall coronavirus strategy and scientific reasoning but the comms this weekend - on one of the most drastic measures, telling 10 million people to stay at home for four months - has been absolutely dreadful

My wife and I are at risk. I'm trying to fathom out how to stay safe while 40 million people are being infected. It's a nightmare and I don't believe it is possible. The vulnerable will be infected in their millions and many severe cases will not receive the necessary treatment.

We live in a flat, we need to use the lift, we also need deliveries. The deliverers could distribute coronavirus germs in the lift... Just one of many scenarios.

Here's another one - coronavirus on packaging of delivered food.

You have a bottle of spray ( weak bleach solution 15ml -1 cap to 500 ml of water) or Milton and spray the packaging. Use gloves to remove anything else & envelopes etc)& then dispose of the gloves, then wash your hands. Make homemade hand sanitizer (rubbing alcohol over 60%).
