      One of my doctors is an arrogant jerk. He makes me really nervous, and I find myself apologizing if I ever interrupt or contradict him in any way. (How DARE I? 🙄)

      I got a test done at another clinic last summer. My other (female) doctor said the results were unusual. I forwarded the results to this office last summer and asked my new doctor to look at them. It's been about 8 months and he STILL needs to look at them.

      When I brought it up to him today he got all irritated & was like "Most doctors don't know what they're doing when they look at test results. It's probably nothing." (I wonder if he was so dismissive because my previous doctor is a woman? It was really arrogant, regardless.)

      I'm just waiting for him to finally *look at* the fucking test results, & for him to get me on my preferred treatment plan for my chronic illness. Then I'm switching doctors. The other doctor suggested this treatment plan also. Maybe that's why he was so annoyed?

      Maybe he felt like he was being "bested" by a female doctor who wasn't even in the room. I have no fucking clue. It was really aggressive and really unnecessary, and frankly I am genuinely tired of trying to tend to men's ego when I'm trying to tend to my fucking health.
