      I hadn’t realised there were so many ! Not surprising really given the numbers that died. I think it was the same time we were told that the nursery rhyme ‘ring a ring of roses’ was attached to plague symptoms too🤔

      I don’t think they are actually. I’m lower school in primary and I’ve not come across it. I shall ask some of the older children’s teachers and see if they cover it.🧐

      I subscribed to the magazine when it first came out back in the day (mainly for school) and now my youngest adores them. It’s an amazing way to get kids excited about history.

          I gave history up as soon as I could. My last memories are ‘types of caravan used to cross the Great Plains of America 🤯. However since becoming a family historian over a decade ago, it sparked a love for it again when attached to people in my family. 🤓
