I don't eat pork myself. Can't stand the smell somehow. Good thing most restaurants in Jakarta don't serve anything pork related.
Today Twitter helped me decide I would never go to America. There was a ‘food fight’ happening over a full English. Some blue ticked yank was saying it was disgusting and English food was really vile. The replies about American food shut that down

The US isn't so bad. Spent 21 years stateside and sure, there are some bad days. But then again, you'd find weirdos all around the globe.

I’ve never had any inclination to go there at all. New Zealand, Kenya I loved and India I always wanted to go and finally went a few years ago and went back and will again. I don’t have any wish to go to Australia either
. I did most of Europe as a child with my parents.

My son went to New York, Easter time last year. He said it was ok but found most people there either rude or annoying. I’ve got some lovely family and friends there who are neither of those but this was general findings from out and about..
