My God do I hate being told by men what a fake account looks like on here or who I should respond to or not respond to Do I look like I'm that stupid that I need explaining to all the time? Why do so many of you do it? This has to be the most annoying thing on here

I am not in work at the moment. I'm also retired and a member of staff with a finite training role now, which sadly doesn't cover this area. I could ask colleagues, but that would be only on force perspective. Sorry, but I don't think I can give you the information you seek.
so they really don’t care to do anything. Anything they offer is a smoke screen.A real life staff perspective would be a great one rather than a ‘worked out and what we should say’ response.. I’d be very grateful

I have no knowledge of specific training in the area you are asking about. I have seen general training asking officers to consider the context when matters of potential vulnerability are reported and to consider the legacy the officer leaves in their contact with victims 1/

2/2 I would recommend reporting anything where you feel a crime has been committed against you or another. I can't say it will always be investigated to your satisfaction, but the police must record and investigate as far as is practicable.
