My God do I hate being told by men what a fake account looks like on here or who I should respond to or not respond to Do I look like I'm that stupid that I need explaining to all the time? Why do so many of you do it? This has to be the most annoying thing on here

It's not my area of expertise. I would look to stalking & protection from harassment legislation as a threshold for police involvement. Outside of legislation the relevant social media platform should protect the individual, but I understand they can be variable in their response
And yes the responsibility of the platform should be robustly regulated but isn’t 
so they really don’t care to do anything. Anything they offer is a smoke screen.

I am not in work at the moment. I'm also retired and a member of staff with a finite training role now, which sadly doesn't cover this area. I could ask colleagues, but that would be only on force perspective. Sorry, but I don't think I can give you the information you seek.

I've been harassed on here. I've been harassed & stalked in real life. I've had letters sent to my work trying to get me fired. I've involved the police several times. Guess what? Nothing they can do about it But it certainly isn't just trolls on here They exist in real life
