My God do I hate being told by men what a fake account looks like on here or who I should respond to or not respond to Do I look like I'm that stupid that I need explaining to all the time? Why do so many of you do it? This has to be the most annoying thing on here

I've deleted my tweets. I meant no offence and was trying to be kind, but I make mistakes sometimes. Sorry. I'm feeling pretty flat today and now foolish too. I think I need to be quiet for a while.
As police, can I ask what your perspective is on the victim’s of fake profiles ( what ever motive was behind it) and the journey they should encounter if brave enough to report or go to the police? I’ve had mine... but interested on training of officers etc...

It's not my area of expertise. I would look to stalking & protection from harassment legislation as a threshold for police involvement. Outside of legislation the relevant social media platform should protect the individual, but I understand they can be variable in their response

Sorry I didn’t mean the legislative side of this, it would vary dependant on the motive behind the fake profile ( or should )but I’m interested in any police training towards victims of this kind of online experience?
