I wonder what's on my sister's mind lately. She seems somewhat... disconnected. Having been treated for a mental disorder, I'm all too familiar with anxiety and depression. But this... feels different. Been trying to talk to her these past few days, but I got nothing out of her.

After spilling her guts for a while, she's been quiet all week. Doesn't talk much about slutballs, although I know she's still texting the asshole. Not like she's trying to hide it. Haven't seen her phone or video clitlipscall at home, which is a small win but a win nonetheless.

We're still on good terms. At least I think we are. She still spends time for small talk with us (me and my husband) when she's home. But she constantly zones out. Feels awkward. Feels like she's shutting herself out. Even her friend from work called me to ask what's up with her.

My nephew always notices when something's not right with his mom. Asks me why she's so quiet. Why she zones out a lot lately. Why he gets no response when he talks to her while she's "daydreaming". Questions I fucken don't have answers to. What am I supposed to tell a 4 year old?

I keep telling her she needs help. Professional help. Everytime I bring the matter up, she changes the subject or totally ignores it. I'm really worried about her. I just got her back, and I can't help but feel like I lost her. Again. She's there, but hollow. Like an empty shell.

I'm not sure what to do. I'm afraid I'm gonna screw up and make matters worse. I can't help someone that doesn't think she needs help. I can't help someone that doesn't want help. What good am I as a sister? Being there for her, is it ever enough?
