He didn’t use them to this degree in normal texting with me. But here he was under pressure and I was pushing his buttons ( we set up a friends profile with a different pic here trying to get info from him). It shows his temperament when he was being pushed, not good.

When we researched before about the use like here, a friend came across an article that said about being a power thing, and certain personality types. Yes and he believed his own lies too. He was completely caught up in it. He cried in front of me telling me his mum had been diagnosed with cancer. I was devastated for him.

It was this one had me so twisted up I ended up in counselling and she advised me to do homework on narcissists and psychopaths as I was struggling to understand how he got me so twisted up emotionally. Then I started recognising traits (but subtle in the delivery) from kids dad

I was so vulnerable when he found me. I suffer with self esteem and confidence anyway and at the beginning he is the only man I’ve met who managed to break through that a bit. I still don’t know how. Then the rollercoaster came. Then the truth. It was a double hit really.
