Oh lucky you. I miss mine like crazy. I bred a gorgeous American quarter horse cross Arab. He was a palomino and so so handsome. That’s him as a baby in the other pic and my first horse too. Love these animals #familypic.twitter.com/GodgN45NBv

He was called vision. He was about 15hh . I sold him before he could be ridden. He was about 3 in that photo. I couldn’t afford to keep him when I got a house and husband. Should have kept the horse
. The other is Strawberry Roan Arab cross, Freckles and she was a rescue.
Freckles was found in a field with a foal. She had bald patches and barely any tail. She was my darling. We would lay in the field till 10pm in the summer with them. I wasn’t competitive rider just in the country side. I used to ride about 4 times a week with her.
Training a horse to be ridden is a long process and you should get a trained professional to do that. I didn’t wear a body protector as I didn’t ride competitively and I knew my horse. Always hats tho! It was my life as teen. I first rode when I was 2 years old. A family love
